Menu Planning Monday 8-3-09


This week I have a new challenge. Per my hubby's request we are eating mostly salads this week. I don't mind either...it's healthy, and certainly simple, and I think it will be cheap too. So I had to come up with different variations of salads so we wouldn't get bored. I've also included Breakfast and lunch ideas for this week as well. Happy Cooking!!

Monday - Taco Salad, Chips

Tuesday - Pasta Salad

Wednesday - Garden Salad

Thursday - Leftovers, Perfect Apple Pie

Friday - Greek Salad

Saturday - Homemade Pizza

Sunday - out of town


Breakfasts -
Grits, Eggs, Orange Juice
Muffins
Cereal, Fruit
Smoothies, Pumkin Bread
Yogurt, Granola, Fruit
Egg McMuffins, Scrambled Tofu

Lunches -
Tuna Cheesies
Leftovers
Baked Potatoes
Costa Rican Pinto

Mmmm... I love salads. We usually pair this with a baked potato, garlic bread sticks, or half a sandwich. And salads are great for the summer months!

I'm just surfing blogs for menu ideas and had to stop and comment on your family. Your children are absolutely precious. I pray that God will give you what you need to take care of your little sweeties. I never had twins, but have had many little ones at a time (I have 8 under 12 right now) and know how difficult it can be at time. God bless and have a wonderful day!
