Menu Planning Monday 5-17-10

I'm off to do some grocery shopping today...and hopefully won't be spending much money!  So far this month we have spent $108.80 out of our $200 monthly budget.  We are cutting expenses in every way possible, and it seems one of the best ways to reduce spending money is to just stay out of the stores and stay home.  I've been practicing a bit of that method lately and it is working pretty well.  :-)  Trying to find meals that mostly use stuff from the pantry this week, since we need to stock up on a few basics.  Happy Cooking!!

Monday - Pinto Beans, Chicken, Green Beans, Biscuits

Tuesday - Sesame Teriyaki w/Veggies, Fruit

Wednesday - Baked Potatoes, Broccoli, Salad w/Homemade Dressing

Thursday - Lasagna, Corn, Salad, Garlic Bread

Friday - Black-Eyed Peas, Mashed Potatoes, Tuna Salad, Cornbread

Saturday - Leftovers

Sunday - Sandwiches, Veggies & Dip, Apple Cranberry Pie (using Easy Pie Crust)

Breakfasts -
Oatmeal
Peanut Butter Granola
Grits, Eggs, Biscuits
Cereal
Homemade Waffles

Lunches -
Green Smoothies
Baked Potatoes
Salads
Sandwiches
Leftovers

Yummy looking menu! The teriyaki sounds delish! Cutting expenses is a lot easier with staying home! We had to do that and were finally able to get out of debt!! :D
