Menu Planning Monday 12-14-09
It's soup season here! We've been battling a little sickness around here this past week, and soup always seems good when we don't feel well. Plus it has been getting really cold, and there's nothing like soup to warm you up! Another cheap week here...I already have most of what I need for this week's menu. Which definitely helps out the budget with all the Christmas shopping going on. I'm feeling hungry now after typing all of this. Happy Cooking!!
Monday - Minestrone Soup, Potato Rolls
Tuesday - Fresh Veggie Quesadillas, Spanish Rice
Wednesday - Tomato Soup, Grilled Cheese
Thursday - Black Bean Soup, Chips
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday -Grits, Eggs, Biscuits, Gravy

Breakfasts -
Banana Flax Muffins
Banana Oatmeal
Honey Crunch Granola
Whole Wheat Toast, Fruit

YUMMY! What a great cold weather menu! I think I'm going to try your minestrone soup next week. It looks sooooo good!
Mmmmm... soups. We've got pasta fagioli on tap this week for our menu. Saturday's breakfast feast looks exactly like something we'd have at our house!
Sesame Teriyaki Pasta w/Broccoli & Carrots
Can you get me the recipe above or tell me where to find it???
Nothing sounds good to eat recently and I need new ideas.
Hope everyone gets well soon!
ahorne, I've never tried Pasta Fagioli. I'll have to give it a try soon!
Rachel, this will be my first try making Sesame Teriyaki from scratch. I am pretty much just making up my own recipe, so I'll let you know how it turns out. We've really been enjoying Asian food lately.
