These years, these moments, are slipping through my fingers...

I want to make time stand still, but I can't.  She's growing up so fast.  How is it that she looks so much older than yesterday?  Her abilities, her words, the way her mind works...they are all changing so much.  I can feel the moments just whirling on by...not waiting for me to keep them all sorted in my memory.  I feel acutely aware of the fact that life is busy and there are never enough hours in the day.  I just want to sloooww doowwnn.  For now I will just look at this picture of my baby and pretend that time is standing still, just for a moment.

I feel so selfish sometimes wanting time to stand still. I am glad I am not the only one who feels that way!

Take it from a mama that knows way to fast how they grow up. Her daddy is my "baby" and I cannot believe how he and his brother have grown into GREAT young men. And now I watch my GRANDbabies and see how fast they are growing up all of them. They are precious and I don't know where the saying come from but I do like this one... Whey they are babies they step on your toes, when they are adults they step on your heart... very true in some ways.

Love ya bunches ....

Nana :)
P.s I still can't post any comments on your photography blog but I love the pictures that are there :)
