A tale of sweet surpise

It was an ordinary day. I was cooking dinner with Abigail’s help. The twins were sleeping, and my husband was at work. As I was finishing up dinner, my husband called to say that he was on the way home, and he had a surprise for me.

So you know what happened when he got home? He locked me in the bedroom and made me stay while I listened helplessly to the banging around in the next room. Then music began to play, leaving my imagination running wild…wondering what could be going on. I mean, he already proposed to me, so that couldn’t be it!

After maybe 15 minutes hubby and Abigail came to get me. I was told to keep my eyes closed as I was led back into the main part of the house. When I opened my eyes…Abigail handed me a heart balloon that read “I love you,” and it was dark except for the candles that were glowing all around me. Then I saw the table…above it hung a red streamer of hearts and the food was all set out in a pretty way, the table was set for two, and included two pretty, red heart flutes and some sparkling grape juice. And don’t forget the music in the background.

So we ate by candlelight. My husband is so romantic and full of amazing, creative ideas!! Needless to say, that made my day.

If there are any guys reading this, you just might want to read it again and take some notes! Girls love stuff like this!

Here are the pictures we thought to take “after” dinner…

How fun and sweet! What a great guy! I know it couldn´t have been any better if you were without Abigail and in a fancy restruant because he made it truely yours (with his touch and love). These are the moments you remember forever.

How thoughtful! What a good husband and daddy to three beautiful girls. They surely will grow up knowing how special they are to their heavenly father through their daddy =)
