Menu Planning Monday 7-11-11

So...we're officially back to spending $200 on food per month.  You can read all about it here.  I should only have to pick up a few things for our menu this week, so hopefully I can keep the spending low.  The only problem is that I've fallen in love with these super healthy, delicious, and expensive Homemade Larabars.  I'll be sharing all the details on those soon.  For now, here's the menu for this week!

Dinners -
Monday - Homemade Pizza, Watermelon

Tuesday - Lentil Soup, Cheese Quesadillas (from last week)

Wednesday - Stir Fry Veggies & Rice

Thursday - Leftovers

Friday - Cuban Style Black Beans, Scallion Cilantro Rice with Habaneros and Lime

Saturday - Pinto Beans, Brown Rice, Sweet Potatoes, Salad

Sunday - Leftovers

Breakfasts -
Simple Granola
Banana Oatmeal
Cranberry Orange Spice Muffins
Oatmeal (with honey, cinnamon, & coconut oil)

Lunches -
Grilled cheese sandwiches with garden fresh tomatoes
PB & Honey Sandwiches

Sarah your family is vegetarian? I wish i could do the same. But my husband loves meat and it's difficult for me to change all alone. One day maybe... he changes his mind :)
I so much love to read your blog. You're wonderful and so gifted and blessed. "Graças a Deus" ( God bless in portuguese :) )

Miss Borboleta, We're not quite vegetarians. I used to be, but we do eat a little fish, and my husband likes chicken too, and occasionally beef. However, when meals are so yummy without the meat, you don't miss it much.
