Menu Planning Monday 5-3-10


Wow, can you believe that it's already May?  Thank you all who prayed for me getting my wisdom teeth out last Monday.  I'm doing well and haven't had any complications.  I still can't eat regular food yet, since it gets stuck in my stitches and the holes where my teeth were, but hopefully I'll be able to eat my favorite stuff again soon.  For now I'm eating a lot of yogurt, smoothies, applesauce, and oatmeal.  I sure do miss lots of favorite foods though!  It's funny how different it is cooking for my husband and toddlers when I'm not eating with them.  Many meals I just ask my husband what he wants and then make something simple for the girls.

It's good to be back to menu planning.  Here's our menu for this week.  I'm hoping I can eat some of this stuff!  :-)


Monday - Lentil Rice Casserole, Salad w/Homemade Dressing

Tuesday - Mexican Layer Casserole, Fresh Fruit

Wednesday - Grilled Cheese, Veggies w/Dip

Thursday - Baked Ziti, Steamed Broccoli, Garlic Bread

Friday - Parmesan Chicken (recipe coming soon!), Rice, Green Beans, Potato Rolls

Saturday - Leftovers

Sunday - Pizza, Salad w/Homemade Dressing

Breakfasts - 
Oatmeal w/Honey & Cinnamon
Cereal
Apple Cinnamon Muffins
Grits, Eggs, Biscuits w/Apple Butter
Pumpkin Bread

Lunches - 
Chicken Salad Sandwiches or w/Crackers
Peanut Butter & Honey Sandwiches
Green Smoothies
Leftovers
Bean, Rice, & Cheese Burritos
