Sesame Teriyaki with Veggies

Sesame Teriyaki Pasta with Veggies
1 pkg. Asian udon noodles
Teriyaki sauce
sesame seeds
2-3 heads of broccoli
4-5 carrots
butter
olive oil

Slice carrots julienne style.  Set aside.

Cut broccoli florets (keeping in mind that the bigger the pieces the longer they will take to cook).

Place a large pot or pan over medium heat.  Put about 2 Tbs. each of butter and olive oil.

Put carrots into the pan and cook, covered until just before they get tender.  Stir occasionally.

Add broccoli to the pan of carrots and cook covered until crispy-tender (or however you like), stirring occasionally.  Add more butter and olive oil if needed.  This helps to keep vegetables from sticking as well as gives flavor.

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to a boil.  Add pasta and cook according to package directions.  Strain.

Next either mix the Teriyaki sauce in with the noodles or you can do so on your plate.  I just measured to taste.
Mix in some veggies, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and you're done!  Oh, we also added a little sea salt on our plates.

Enjoy!!
