Too much of a good thing...

is...well you know, a bad thing.

I'm a multi-tasking mama. Which can be good, but sometimes I think I multi-task too much. You know, to the point where I am not taking the time to just sit still sometimes? Or to the point that I am not relaxing and enjoying the present task, because I am so busy trying to get it all done. Ever been there?

Anyways, I think I usually do pretty well with multi-tasking, but not today. In fact, not this week. I have a hard time nursing a baby and typing now. Maybe because my little twins are not quite so little anymore. And they just want to wiggle and they get distracted so easliy, and then turn their heads and kick their little feet up onto the desk. Then I give up.

So that's why I haven't been blogging as much. Not to mention there seem to be an endless million other things to do. Things like feeding, holding, bathing, reading, laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning, playing...and on the list goes. I'm trying to learn to slow down a little and enjoy the current moment.

Do you struggle with this too? How do you balance multi-tasking with still moments? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I love your blog! Life with three under two (and a big sister, in our case) is crazy and it's encouraging to see someone else doing it, and doing it well. Your girls are just beautiful. And this post - oh me, oh my, I TOTALLY understand! I have become quite the multi-tasker. One of my biggest challenges is trying to still do everything WELL. Haven't gotten there yet, but I'm certainly trying! :) Thanks for sharing your life.
