Menu Planning Monday 6-29-09

As always, I'm trying to make the most of our budget. This week's menu is mostly cooking from stuff that we already have on hand. With the exception of Monday's meal, this menu is pretty cheap and simple. So here goes! Happy Cooking!!

Monday - Warm Dinner Wraps

Tuesday - Pinto Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Biscuits

Wednesday - Girl's Night (I don't know what we're making yet)

Thursday - Veggie Quesadillas, Salad, Chips & Homemade Salsa

Friday - Leftovers

Saturday - Blender Batter Waffles, Fresh Fruit Syrup

Sunday - Leftovers

Extra Baking:
Zucchini Bread
Granola (I'm looking for a new recipe to try...so if you have a suggestion, please share!)
Pita Bread

Kiss My Spatula has a great granola recipe adapted from Barefoot Contessa. Best Homemade Granola
Good luck!

Looks really good to me- I make a very simple granola that can be adapted however you like. I would suggest finding a very basic recipe and then adding what you like to it, it works a whole lot better for me than any of the fancier ones we have tried.

yum -- those waffles and fresh fruit syrup are calling my name!

I have a granola recipe that I love ... it's basic (i.e., just oats), but is might tasty and leaves ample room for add-ins!

Can you share your recipe for the warm dinner wraps? I really enjoy wraps and am looking for some good recipes to make for my family...
