Praising God in the little things

Today I am making a conscious effort to praise God in the little things. Things like...

- The sink full of dirty dishes. Because it means that we have food to eat and a sink to wash the dishes in.

- The toys strewn all over the house. Because it means that my children are having fun.

- The dryer full of laundry waiting to be put away. Because it means that we have clean, dry towels.

- The clothes that pile up everywhere. Because it means that we have plenty of clothes to wear.

- The fussiness of my babies today. Because it means that I get to experience the joy of children as well. And that I actually notice the fussiness so much because it isn't the norm.

The fact I can't get much done on my own today. Because it makes me rely on God and stop to remember the things that are the most important.

Wow, sis! You are so amazing! I feel so stessed so often and tired and do not know how you do it. I have been wanting to call you but haven´t had time yet. You are such an inspiration to me. Love you lots! I think I will post on this cuz I sure need to throw this tiredness, stress and depresion.

Amen! We can either choose to complain about those things or rejoice in them. Thank you for the reminder to choose rejoicing.

I pray you have a wonderful day with your precious little ones!
