DIY Photo Frame Hair Bow Holder

Soooo easy you can make one too!  I have been wanting to do this for a long time, and I love the way it turned out!  Organized and pretty.  :-)

I took this old frame and removed the glass, picture, and backing.

Gave it two coats of white spray paint.

Cut a few ribbons, and used a hot glue gun to attach them to the back of the frame.  Another option is to put a piece of pretty fabric in the frame {it would be behind the ribbons} and then put the frame backing back on.  I may do this at some point, but I like it without a back too.

The girls helped me fill it up with hair bows.  :-)

I have toyed with this idea too! I can't remember where I saw it before... but I have yet to do it! I guess with Hobby Lobby and Micheal I have no excuse not to ;-) The finished product is great! Good job Sarah! I am sure you had a few helpers too.

So cute! I will have to stash this idea away for later. There are SO MANY ways to add variety to this!! You could even take the glass from the front and glue cardstock or fabric to the glass. Then use that piece of glass as the backing, put the back on again and set it on a dresser instead of hanging it on the wall. You could add little nick-nacks (buttons, shells, more ribbon, or even letters for names/initials) to the front with hot glue and have a totally customized frame for anyone you wanted to make one for.

Very clever Sarah!!
