40

Today is the day.  My official due date, that is.

So far no baby...but the day isn't over yet, right?

I wish I had a belly bump picture to share with you, but I don't.

You might think being my third pregnancy that I would be a pro at this by now...

But that is far from the truth.

This pregnancy has been way different than my first two...which, by the way, were also different.  :-)

This pregnancy has thrown me for a lot of unexpected loops.

For one thing, I thought for sure this baby would come early.  And here I am, at my due date, wondering if this baby is just too cozy to want to come out.

Of course, I do pray every day that this baby would come in God's perfect timing...so now I just have to trust.

I'm so eager for this labor (yep, I did say eager).  There is something so beautiful about going through natural childbirth and being rewarded with a sweet, sweet babe in the end!

Knowing that God created my body to carry and birth a child, really leaves me in awe.

I am sooo ready to meet my precious new one.

So there you have it.  A rambling post of what I'm thinking about right now.  :-)

Oooh, the excitement! I hope it goes smoothly. Are you having a home birth?
It's weird but I feel like anytime I expect to be a pro at something life throws me a curve ball. I guess it's a good way to keep me humble!

Thanks Jessi! I wish that I was having a homebirth, but right now I don't know of any midwives around here who will attend a VBAC at home. :-(

Joy, thank you so much for your prayers...I need them!
