The heavens declare the glory of God

Just a little sneak peek of a beautiful sunrise on the beach where we vacationed. The clouds were covering the sun, but it was still gorgeous. These moments make me so in awe of God and amazed at the beauty that He has created.

In other news...this has been a really crazy day so far. The girls have all been pretty cranky, but especially the twins. I'm not sure why. I've been busy with laundry, unpacking, and restoring order to our home again. How good it is to be home.

One of the babes had a massive "blowout" (if you're a parent you know what I'm talking about) which ended up all over her and me. Ick! I ended up having to put her in the bath just to get it all cleaned up. Then I proceeded to put the messy clothes to soak in a dishpan and carried the dishpan across the kitchen (not a good move). The water (with stain remover) spilled onto some potatoes sitting in a bag on the floor. Yeah. So then I had to take the potatoes out and try to wash them off. All the while trying to hurry so I could get back to Sophia who had scooted herself into a corner and Emma who was screaming at the top of her lungs for some reason. Whew!

Right now is a little better...the twins are asleep for the moment and Abigail is "resting" (ie. screaming) in her bed. She doesn't want to take a nap I guess. I hope that she hasn't gotten too used to not going down for a regular nap everyday. Vacation is just an exception, not a new rule. Sigh.

Sophia is about to crawl. She's so close! I'm excited, but also a little scared of how many things she will get into. Emma can say "da da", which of course her daddy loves! Both of the girls sit up really well by themselves now. It's so cute!
