Traveling Smart With Little Ones

Here are a few of my tips for stocking your vehicle with those necessities and nice-to-haves.

~ Use an old facial tissue box for a trash can. Just stuff, empty, and refill!

~ Keep a small cardboard box under the seat full of books and a few toys for the kids. This can be a sanity saver!

~ Keep a small box or bag in your vehicle with a few diapers, a small pack of wipes, and a change of clothes for each child. It is great to have a backup for those unexpected emergencies.

~ Use a small zipper pouch or other case to hold a first aid kit. Stock it with bandaids, alcohol swabs, tweezers, nail clippers, and whatever else you can think of. You can keep it in the glovebox or under the front seat.

~ Keep a pen and a small notepad in the glove box.

~ Keep a few napkins and kleenex in the glove box. They always come in handy.

Can you tell that I just went on a trip? :-)

I love your ideas especially the kleenex box trash can!

We find the boys enjoy little cars and smaller toys they can hold. Books not so much but my daughter will draw and color the whole trip.
