Repurposing Boxes

Repurposing your old boxes is a great way to organize, recycle, and save money...all at the same time. Here are a few examples of how I repurpose old boxes in our home.

I've used an old diaper wipes container to hold plastic grocery bags which I reuse for trash bags in the bathrooms and such. It keeps them contained and neat, while still allowing for easy access.

I've also taken an old facial tissue box, cut off the top, and made it into a great drawer organizer. I like to use these especially for the babies socks, headbands, hair bows, and things like that. You could also use it in a cabinet to hold small snacks, or make it into a first aid box to hold band-aids, ointments, creams, tweezers, and things like that. The diaper wipes container can be used the same way too if you take off the lid completely and it would actually be a little stronger and not get torn up as fast.

If you want to make them pretty, you can do that too. Often tissue boxes come with pretty designs already printed on them, but another option would be to cover it with wrapping paper, or maybe even wallpaper would work. And if you want to add some sticky labels to show what's inside, you'll stay even more organized!

I love organizing and repurposing boxes because it helps me to stay neat and frugal! I hope you're inspired to try this!

I think that is really neat. We use a tissue box with the top on in the van to carry napkins and spoons. That was a smart idea!

Wow, I found you just in time. I have about 5 diaper wipes boxes I am saving and I wasn't exactly sure what to do with them. Thanks for the tips and for stopping by my blog.
