This morning I most certainly did not put some water to boil on the stove, then walk off and forget all about it. Of course not! And when coming back a little while later, I had not completely forgotten all about my lunch and the water on the stove. Not me! The water had not all evaporated, and there was not a funny smell. When I grabbed the pot off the burner the smoke alarm did not start going off really loudly (my babies were not napping), and I did not have trouble getting the smoke detector off the wall. Not a crazy morning at all!

Oh my! What a Monday! Why does all the "fun" have to happen during nap time when you are trying so desperately to be quiet ;-)
I've done that with a pot of boiling carrots... it took me a long time to get that pan clean!
i have forgotten about water before. too funny, thank you for making me feel normal
