Baking Powder Biscuits

These biscuits may not look like your conventional biscuit, but they are way better!  I love how flaky and golden they are.  Fresh out of the oven with some butter, apple butter, or honey...can't be beat!

Baking Powder Biscuits
1 3/4 cup flour (I use 1 c. whole wheat, 3/4 c. all purpose)
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup oil
3/4 cup milk (or water)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add oil and milk and mix well.

Shape into biscuits with your hands or a biscuit cutter.

Place on greased pan.

Bake 10-12 minutes.
